On October 17, 2024, the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (“ANPD” or “Brazilian DPA”) launched a Call for Contributions to gather input from society in the draft of its Regulatory Agenda for the years 2025 and 2026.
The Call for Contributions was accompanied by a proposed agenda from the ANPD, dividing the period into four half-year phases. The proposed draft included the regulation of topics such as data subject rights, artificial intelligence, the Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), and sensitive personal data.
The Call for Contributions will be open until October 31, 2024 and can be accessed through the Participa + Brasil platform, available at this link.
Our team is available for further clarification, as well as to advise on the procedures for complying with the regulatory obligations of the LGPD before the ANPD.
