It was published in today’s edition of the Brazilian Official Gazette the new composition of the National Council for Protection of Personal Data and Privacy (“CNPD”), with new appointees and reappointed members.
The CNPD, with participants from civil society and various public authorities, had been paused since the beginning of 2023, with its new composition indicating the restart of its full activities, which involve, especially, the elaboration of studies, the conduction of debates and public hearings, and the dissemination of knowledge about the protection of personal data and privacy to society.
