On February 02, 2024, the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (“Brazilian DPA” or “ANPD”) opened a consultation for the draft of the regulation of the data subjects’ rights established in the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”).
The ANPD’s goal in the consultation, which will be open until March 04, 2024, is to collect the society’s participation on the regulation, particularly regarding the deadlines and procedures that shall be applicable for the exercise of the data subjects’ rights against the controller.
