On June 16, 2024, the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (“Brazilian DPA” or “ANPD”) opened a consultation for the development of a Regulatory Project on the Processing of Children’s and Adolescents’ Data.
The goal of the Brazilian DPA in this public consultation, which will remain open until July 17, 2024, is to receive society’s participation on the topic, especially regarding the definition of the minor’s best interest, details about specific consent, and cases involving the participation of minors in digital environments.
The participation can be submitted here.
Our team is available for further clarification, as well as to advise on the procedures for complying with the regulatory obligations of the LGPD before the Brazilian DPA.
