On September 24, 2024, the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (“ANPD” or “Brazilian DPA”) published a dedicated webpage on its website with information regarding the rules for international transfers involving personal data within the scope of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”).
The ANPD’s initiative follows the publication of Resolution CD/ANPD no. 19/2024 establishing the International Data Transfer Regulation, which we have analyzed in this newsletter.
The webpage provides an overview of the current regulatory framework for international data transfers in Brazil, covering key aspects of the topic and including a Frequent Questions and Answers section.
The webpage has an English version that can be accessed via this link.
Our team is at your disposal for further clarifications and to assist with complying with LGPD and ANPD regulatory requirements.
