Partner Gustavo Flausino Coelho attended the Half-Year May Conference of the International Association of Young Lawyers (“AIJA”), held between May 18 and 21 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The main topic of the conference was “The Future of Mobility – Navigating the Revolution”, which was divided into three academic tracks: (i) Intellectual Property & Technology: The Future of Automation (organized by the AIJA IP/TMT Commission); (ii) M&A in Motion: Surfing the Challenges and Catching the Waves in a Disrupted Mobility Sector (AIJA Corporate & M&A Commission); and (iii) Mobility and Digitalization: In a Time of Crisis, How Resilient and Sustainable Can the Transport Industry Be? (AIJA Transport Law Commission).
Gustavo coordinated the workshop “Let’s create effective R&W and indemnity clauses for M&A mobility deals”, together with lawyer Daphne Van Boxtel (Rutgers Posch, The Netherlands), lawyer Michael Eitle (Scope Law, Switzerland) and lawyer Petronella Hallberg (Vinge, Sweden). The Workshop was organized by the AIJA Corporate and M&A Committee.
