From November 16 to 19, partner Gustavo Flausino Coelho will participate in the International Association of Young Lawyers ("AIJA") Half-Year November Conference, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The conference will focus on issues related to the various environmental and sustainable aspects of the ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) goals. The event has been divided into two academic tracks: (i) Exploring the E in ESG: Environment, Energy and the Economy; and (ii) Climate, Demands and Compliance: How to Get it Right?
Partner Gustavo Flausino Coelho will participate in the panel that will take place on November 17th at 12pm, with the theme "The Transactional Life Cycle of a Renewable Energy Project", organized by AIJA's Corporate & M&A Commission.
The panel will be moderated by Francisco Martins Caetano (Cuatrecasas, Spain) and will feature panelists Anne Brugmans (Loyens & Loeff, Netherlands), Ioan Radu (Roedl & Partner, Romania), John Morrison (Shepherd & Wedderburn, UK - Scotland) and Christine McGregor (BayWa, UK, Scotland).
Each year AIJA offers over twenty (20) events and initiatives dedicated to international young lawyers, and organized by AIJA members through the various Commissions and Committees, whether online, in-person or in a hybrid format.
