On December 5, 2023, the National Data Protection Authority (“ANPD” or “Brazilian DPA”) will conduct a Public Hearing to discuss the regulation of the Data Protection Officer and gather public input in defining guidelines for this role.
This initiative is part of the regulatory process of the ANPD, aiming to involve the community in the development of important regulations. Previously, the Authority had opened a Public Consultation on the same topic, allowing society to contribute through the Participa+Brasil platform.
