Lawyer with experience in corporate law, antitrust & competition law, commercial contracts, data protection and intellectual property. Previously worked in a leading Latin America law firm and in a national company in specialized areas, having experience with: (i) advising companies in commercial agreements, due diligences and corporate and M&A negotiations; (ii) drafting legal opinions about antitrust matters, as well as representing clients in antitrust administrative procedures at the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) and in the negotiation of Leniency Agreements, Cease-and-Desist Commitments and Agreements for Concentration Control; (iii) drafting legal opinions and memorandums about data protection and privacy matters, risk assessments in data incidents involving personal data and notices of these data incidents to both the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) and the data subjects and providing DPO’s services; and (iv) assessing the viability of trademark, patent and software registration and filing the requests for these registries at the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI).
