Our partner Gustavo Flausino Coelho is preparing to attend the 60th Annual Congress of the International Association of Young Lawyers ("AIJA"), which will take place August 22-27 at the Marina Bay Hotel in Singapore.
The central theme of this year's congress will be "the future of the legal profession: rediscovering and embracing change". The theme is extremely relevant, especially in a world affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has accelerated and deepened changes in society.
Therefore, with the mission of preparing all young lawyers to emerge as tomorrow's leaders, AIJA's 60th Annual Congress will feature a broad academic program, with panels organized by its twenty-one thematic committees, as well as a specific program on "Doing Business in Asia".
Participants will also enjoy a busy schedule of social events with lunches, dinners, parties, runs, and even a soccer match. Such events are a great opportunity for networking and sharing experiences.
